Bathroom Remodel Richmond

TTBC was called out to do a bathroom remodel in Richmond home that was built in 1979.

Asbestos was our main concern with this renovation because the homeowner was still going to live in it during our renovation process. Their main washroom on the 2nd floor had a full bath but they wanted it renovated to a have a newer and more modern look.

First, we removed the bulkhead that was above their bathtub to create more space. We had the bathtub removed to a stand up shower for easier access and added a sliding glass door instead of shower curtains to eliminate water from dripping out of the ends of the curtains.

We also added a floating vanity that created a modern look to their washroom and easier access to clean the floor. One thing that we added that made the washroom different from others was adding 4’ tile borders around the washroom and of course the crown molding.

Lastly, the homeowner was extremely excited about adding a new exhaust fan that was motion censored.  Before the renovation, they were used to opening the windows anytime the washroom was being used… and that was always really cold, especially in the winter time!
