Top To Bottom Construction was called out to make this Vancouver West home livable for a new young family.
Removing the carpet was their main concern because they wanted to restore their existing natural solid hardwood flooring beneath the carpet. The carpet a large area of the home from the living room and foyer area downstairs to the hallway upstairs, including the staircase.
Baseboard was also added to cover the joint surface between the wall and the floor, giving it a nice architectural feature and preventing furniture from damaging the walls.
The carpet was promptly removed and disposed, revealing the existing hardwood floor beneath.
The baseboards finished the look and the new family was happy with the work now that their new home was ready to be moved into.
